About the role

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Warehouse Assistant to join the RAINBOW SHADE team in Upper Coomera, Queensland. This is a full-time position based on-site at our warehouse facility. As a Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient movement and storage of goods, and ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and in excellent condition. This role is essential to maintaining the smooth functioning of our distribution centre and directly impacts our service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

- Receiving and unloading goods from delivery vehicles, verifying against documentation and checking for damage

- Organizing and storing products efficiently within the warehouse using appropriate storage systems and methods

- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and safely to meet delivery schedules

- Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and trolleys (with relevant qualifications where required)

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock counts and audits

- Labelling, scanning and tracking products using warehouse management systems

- Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and organized in accordance with health and safety standards

- Supporting the warehouse team during peak periods and busy seasons

- Reporting any damaged goods, discrepancies or safety hazards to management immediately

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a warehouse, distribution centre or similar logistics environment

- Physical capability to lift, carry and move goods regularly, with the ability to work on your feet for extended periods





- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping

- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy

- A valid driver's license (preferred)

- Relevant forklift license or willingness to obtain one (advantageous)

- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

- Commitment to health and safety standards and protocols

- Reliable, punctual and committed to delivering quality work

- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
