About the Role:

The Operational Lead, Industry Advisory is responsible for leading and coordinating the administrative operations, examination delivery and assessment support services of the Industry Advisory team. The role provides operational leadership across building and plumbing examination and assessment activities, ensuring the effective delivery of examination administration, candidate communications, reporting, examination integrity processes and online examination platform administration.

As the primary administrator of the examination platform, the role leads system configuration, user access management, examination scheduling, content deployment, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives that support the BPC's examination reform agenda.

The Operational Lead works closely with the Team Leader, Industry Advisory, Technical Advisors, Plumbing Examiners, Registered Training Organisations and external examination providers to ensure timely, consistent and high-quality examination outcomes.

What we are looking for:

- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams to deliver high-quality operational outcomes and customer-focused services.
- Experience administering and supporting online examination, assessment, learning management or similar enterprise platforms.
- Strong operational planning, coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and complex examination activities.
- Proven ability to analyse data, monitor performance and prepare operational reporting that supports decision-making and continuous improvement.




- Demonstrated success leading change initiatives, system improvements and digital service delivery enhancements.

Desirable

- Tertiary qualification in business administration, management, public administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience is desirable.
- Experience in examination administration, assessment operations, regulatory services or customer service delivery environments is desirable.
