About the Position

This position is to oversee and coordinate the provision of governance and administrative support including the preparation of Council and Committee agendas and minutes and other special governance and compliance projects. In addition, the position coordinates the provision of risk management, freedom of information, functions and hospitality.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Law or Business Administration,



or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/ or education/ training.
- Advanced written communication skills, with the ability to undertake research and prepare written reports.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Local Government Act 1995 and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to apply excellent attention to detail and complete tasks to a high level of accuracy.
- Substantial experience in dealing with sensitive, political and confidential issues.
- A current National Police Clearance.
