Electrician – Solar & Battery Installer

One Power Solar & Electrical is continuing to grow, and we’re looking for electricians to join our installation team.

We’re an award winning solar and battery company working with leading technology including Tesla, Sigenergy and Sungrow, with strong supplier partnerships and a growing pipeline of residential solar and battery projects.

We’re looking for both experienced solar and battery electricians and qualified electricians who want to build a career in the renewable energy industry.

You don’t need to know everything from day one.

If you’ve got the right electrical foundations, attitude and work ethic, we’ll work alongside you to build your solar and battery skills and get you to where you need to be. Initially, you’ll work with experienced members of our team while you learn our systems, installation standards and technology.

Once your skills and confidence are at the right level, there’s an opportunity to split into your own crew, take responsibility for your own projects and progress into a Leading Hand position.

Solar accreditation and battery qualifications are highly regarded, but they’re not essential for the right applicant. We can help the right person develop the skills and qualifications required.

The Role - Your day to day work will include:

• Residential solar and battery installations
• Installing panels, racking, inverters, batteries, gateways and associated electrical equipment
• Switchboard and backup integration
• System commissioning and testing
• Customer handovers
• Completing safety, QA and job reporting
• Working alongside and learning from experienced solar and battery installers
