ABOUT THE ROLE

Viking Events is looking for a reliable, mechanically minded general hand with an MR licence to join our Adelaide depot. We're looking for a genuine jack of all trades - someone who is comfortable using tools, completing repairs and helping wherever needed.

This is a 100% hands-on role. Most of your time will be spent repairing, cleaning and preparing equipment in the depot. Truck driving is only required occasionally for deliveries, collections and event work.

You will be given clear daily tasks by the Depot & Operations Supervisor.

WHAT YOU"LL DO

• Repair and maintain equipment using hand and power tools

• Prepare, clean and restock toilets, showers and buildings

• Load and unload trucks and trailers

• Occasionally drive MR trucks for deliveries and collections

• Install and collect equipment across Adelaide

• Help at major festivals and events

• Keep the depot, tools and vehicles clean and organised

• Complete basic paperwork - training provided

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Current Australian MR licence or higher

• Mechanical mindset and valuable hands-on skills

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual outdoor work

• Reliable,



hardworking and willing to help the team

• Able to follow instructions and complete daily tasks

• Available for longer days, weekends and overtime during the busy season from October to March

• Friendly, honest and easy to work with

• Reliable transport to our Para Hills West depot

• LF forklift licence preferred - we may help with licence costs

**Previous events experience is not required**

WHAT WE OFFER

• $34-$40 per hour plus super and overtime

• Full-time, permanent position with weekly pay

• Extra hours during the busy event season

• On-the-job training, including equipment maintenance and vacuum trucks

• Work behind the scenes at major South Australian festivals

The work can be physical and messy, and event season includes some long days. In return, there is good pay, extra hours, plenty of variety and a team that enjoys working together.
