You will primarily deliver nationally recognised training in HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation, HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid, and HLTAID012 – Provide First Aid in an education and care setting.
Most training is delivered from a purpose-built training facility in Bega, with opportunities to deliver courses throughout the region, including Merimbula, Cooma and surrounding areas.
Administration systems handle student bookings, enrolments and course processing, allowing you to focus on delivering great training.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver nationally recognised first aid training courses
- Engage learners from different backgrounds and experience levels
- Deliver practical, hands-on and scenario-based training that develops genuine confidence
- Prepare people to respond effectively in real-world emergencies
- Maintain professional and compliance standards
- Deliver training from the Bega facility and throughout the region
- Bring relevant experience and training style into the classroom
About you
- TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an appropriate predecessor/equivalent qualification meeting current trainer and assessor requirements
- Current First Aid qualifications or relevant vocational competency, such as nursing, paramedicine or allied health
- Practical First Aid and CPR knowledge
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Confidence delivering face-to-face training
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Availability for weekday and weekend training
- Previous RTO training experience with delivery of HLTAID009, HLTAID011 and HLTAID012 will be highly regarded
