About the role

Build Rapid Scaffold Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our team in Sydney. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring safe and effective scaffold systems across our projects. As a Scaffolder, you will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance and dismantling of scaffolding structures on construction sites, working at heights to support the secure execution of building projects. This role is based in Sydney and surrounding suburbs up to Central Coast NSW and involves hands-on work across various construction environments.

Key responsibilities

- Assembling and erecting scaffold structures according to design specifications and safety standards

- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of scaffolding systems to ensure structural integrity and compliance

- Dismantling and removing scaffold structures safely and efficiently at the end of projects

- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications

- Communicating with site managers, supervisors and other tradespeople to ensure safe working practices

- Documenting scaffold installations and maintaining accurate records of work completed

- Identifying potential hazards and reporting safety concerns to supervisors

- Transporting and organising scaffolding materials and equipment on site

- Working at heights and in confined spaces as required by project demands

What we're looking for

- A valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) and current scaffolder licence or certification

- Proven experience working as a Scaffolder HRWL SB,SI,SA in the construction industry, ideally 2+ years

- Strong knowledge of Australian Safety Standards (AS/NZS 1576) and relevant building codes and regulations

- Ability to work safely at heights

- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy loads regularly

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with site personnel





- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards at all times

- A valid driver's licence is advantageous for site mobility

- Problem-solving ability and practical thinking skills

- Previous experience with different types of scaffolding systems (such as Kwik-stage, Cup-lock, Ring-lock and formwork systems) is desirable
