About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Door Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will focus on non-electrical installation, preventive maintenance, and repair work for industrial high-speed access doors, steel roller shutters, and specialized entry systems across various commercial and industrial settings.

Working closely with our Service Managers and Directors, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality service, maintaining asset safety, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation & Maintenance: Install, service, inspect, and repair high-speed access doors, steel roller shutters, and entry systems.
- Preventative Service: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance across client assets.
- Asset & Job Reporting: Use modern job management software to log service outcomes, record asset status, and report issues accurately.
- Safety & Compliance: Report safety concerns, adhere to OH&S; protocols, and maintain strict safety standards on site.
- Technical Collaboration: Identify, document, and report required electrical works so qualified electricians can perform necessary electrical connections.
- Customer Service: Communicate effectively with commercial clients to explain outcomes, provide status updates, and discuss follow-up work.

What You’ll Need

- Licences & Certifications:

- Current NSW Driver’s Licence




- White Card
- Working at Heights Licence
- Forklift and/or Scissor Lift Licence (highly desirable)

- Experience & Skills:

- Experience working within industrial and commercial site environments.
- Practical mechanical or hands-on background (experience with industrial doors or fault-finding is an advantage, but not essential).
- Solid verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to schedule variations and handle changing daily requirements.

- Compliance: Willingness to complete all necessary onboarding compliance and safety training.
