About the role

As a Marriott Hotels Banquets Supervisor, you will supervise the preparation of event and meeting spaces, tend bar and serve platters of food. You will build and strengthen relationships with existing and recent customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings. You will supervise the execution of event arrangements to exceed guest expectations, understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence to engage and inspire guests.

Key responsibilities

- Supervise the preparation of event and meeting spaces, tending bar and serving platters of food
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers, anticipating their needs and enabling future bookings
- Supervise the execution of event arrangements to exceed guest expectations
- Understand guest requirements and deliver service excellence to engage and inspire guests
- Lead the banquets team with support of the banquets manager in operational tasks
- Plan and execute team building activities so associates feel valued for their contributions
- Be a dynamic and thoughtful supervisor by empowering and supporting your team
- Lead the banquets shift by providing motivation and support to waitstaff
