We’re looking for a Project Support Officer who’s ready to play a key role in delivering impactful infrastructure projects. This is a temporary role for approximately 12 months.
About the Role
As a Project Support Officer, you’ll be the vital link between project teams, internal systems and external stakeholders. Your role will be central to providing administrative support in a responsive manner to ensure role outcomes are delivered on time and to the highest standard.
This role is perfect for someone who brings strong administrative experience, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives on supporting others to succeed. If you enjoy problem-solving, document control, and contributing to projects —this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver timely, professional support to the project team across a range of infrastructure projects.
- Maintain and update corporate systems in line with policies, legislation, and project needs.
- Manage document control processes including workflows, version control, and internal review cycles.
- Prepare detailed reports and track project documentation submissions, reviews, and approvals.
- Ensure data accuracy and audit integrity across electronic document management systems.
- Coordinate meetings and communications
- Provide general administrative and coordination support across all assigned projects.
What You’ll Bring
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Project Management, Business Administration or a related field
- A current Class C Driver’s Licence
Experience and Skills:
- Experience supporting engineering, construction, or civil maintenance projects
- Robust document control and data management experience (preferably with ACONEX, Content Manager, or SharePoint)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, file management tools (e.g. WinZip, Explorer)
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a team-first attitude
