About the role
Remote role - Melbourne or Sydney preferred
Part time or Full time - will be dependent on skills
Must have car and be able to travel interstate when needed
Reporting to the CEO and Board, the Lead – Fundraising, Growth & Engagement will be responsible for developing and delivering initiatives that grow Lymphoma Australia's income, supporter base, partnerships and national profile. You will oversee the relationship with supporters from their first interaction with Lymphoma Australia through to fundraising, participation, stewardship and ongoing engagement. A key focus will be developing diverse and sustainable sources of income while ensuring communications and campaigns demonstrate the impact of Lymphoma Australia's work and give people meaningful ways to become involved. You will work closely with the CEO and broader team to translate organisational priorities into effective fundraising, marketing and engagement activities. This is an autonomous role suited to someone who is comfortable taking ownership, building relationships and delivering results within a small, highly committed national organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement Lymphoma Australia's fundraising and engagement strategy, with a strong focus on sustainable income growth.
- Grow revenue across individual giving, appeals, community fundraising, campaigns, events, corporate partnerships, sponsorship, philanthropy and grant opportunities.
- Identify, develop and maintain relationships with donors, corporate partners, sponsors, fundraisers and other supporters.
- Create engaging fundraising and awareness campaigns that connect people with Lymphoma Australia's mission and demonstrate the difference their support makes.
- Oversee marketing and communications activity across digital platforms, email, social media, website,
media and community channels.
- Develop strong and authentic content, including patient and family stories, campaign messaging and supporter communications.
- Increase participation in Lymphoma Australia's national fundraising and awareness campaigns.
- Build stronger relationships with patients, families, carers, supporters, volunteers, community fundraisers, ambassadors and health professionals.
- Identify new partnership, sponsorship and community engagement opportunities that extend Lymphoma Australia's reach.
- Lead the planning and delivery of fundraising events, national campaigns and awareness activities.
About you
- Demonstrated experience across fundraising, marketing, communications, partnerships, campaigns, events or community engagement.
- Evidence of successfully growing revenue, supporter engagement, partnerships, audiences or campaign participation.
- Excellent written communication, content development and storytelling skills.
- Strong relationship-building skills and confidence engaging with donors, corporate partners, sponsors, community leaders and senior stakeholders.
- A practical understanding of fundraising and the importance of donor acquisition, engagement, stewardship and retention.
- Commercial awareness and confidence working with budgets, revenue targets, KPIs and reporting.
- The ability to identify opportunities and take them from concept through to delivery.
- Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confidence working independently while remaining a collaborative member of a small national team.
- Creativity, initiative and a willingness to test new approaches.
