We are currently seeking a proactive and organised Maintenance Storeperson to join our Maintenance Team at our Manildra Flour Mills site in regional NSW.
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys inventory management, purchasing, and supporting maintenance operations in a large and diverse manufacturing environment.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of the maintenance stores and inventory systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Sourcing and obtaining quotations from suppliers.
- Raising and issuing purchase orders for spare parts, tools, materials and equipment.
- Receiving and accurately processing maintenance inventory into the ERP system.
- Maintaining stock levels to support preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, capital projects and shutdown activities.
- Ensuring maintenance stores are organised, efficient and maintained to a high safety standard.
- Managing Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) records and lubrication registers.
- Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and availability of critical parts and consumables.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, email and web-based systems.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- High attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
- A logical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- A professional attitude with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- A current Forklift Licence and unrestricted driver's licence.
While not essential, the following will be highly regarded:
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical components and spare parts identification.
- Experience with computerised inventory or stores management systems.
- Experience using MEX and SAP.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, industrial or maintenance environment.
