About the Opportunity:
We're looking for an experienced Collections Team Leader to lead our Collections Team and drive strong portfolio performance across the business. In this role, you'll coach and develop a high-performing team while delivering positive customer and commercial outcomes through strong decision-making and operational excellence.

You'll oversee day-to-day collections activities, partner performance and portfolio outcomes, balancing customer needs with risk and commercial objectives. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, strengthen operational performance and support customers experiencing financial difficulty with fairness, empathy and professionalism.

Your key contributions include:

- Leading, coaching and developing a high-performing Collections team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.




- Driving portfolio performance by optimising arrears outcomes, minimising losses and balancing customer, risk and commercial objectives.
- Overseeing the performance and governance of third-party collections partners to ensure strong service delivery and compliance outcomes.
- Monitoring portfolio and operational performance, using data and insights to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
- Driving operational excellence through process improvements that enhance efficiency, customer experience and business outcomes.
- Ensuring collections activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal policies and industry best practice.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contributing to strategic business initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

- 5+ years' experience in collections, credit, financial services or a related industry, including experience leading or mentoring team members.
- Proven success leading, developing and motivating high-performing teams.
- Experience managing third-party service providers and complex stakeholder relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance customer outcomes, risk management and business performance.




- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Highly developed communication, influencing and relationship management skills.
- A passion for operational excellence, continuous improvement and delivering positive customer outcomes.
