ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for Export Operator (General Cargo) to work in our Parramatta Office. Enjoy the security of this permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 4.30pm. Reporting to the Operations Manager your key responsibilities would include, but are not limited to the following:-

- Create Purchase and Sales Orders for air freight, LCL, FCL and consolidation shipments

- Coordinate end-to-end shipment activities, including prepare and verify export documentation, liaise with suppliers, freight providers and customers

- Review freight and supplier invoices

- Maintain accurate shipment records and reporting

- Identify upsell opportunities to support customer growth

- Provide general support across orders from: New Zealand / Australia / Asia and the Pacific Island orders

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:-

- Minimum 3-5 years working in the industry; being a combination of education and/or on the job experience.

- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), previously worked with BSM (Buy Sell Move) is desirable

- Effective communicator and strong customer service focus with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders

- Proficient understanding of planning, customer service, and cross-functional supply chain processes





- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and comfortable working across different markets/origins (NZ, AU, Asia)

- High level of attention to detail, accountability, initiative and self-motivation to drive operational outcomes.

- Previous experience in dealing with dangerous goods (advantageous)
