An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Officer (AP and AR) to join a successful and growing business operating nationally with 2 locations in Sydney.
This role offers a fantastic blend of high-volume, complex Accounts Payable responsibilities alongside customer-focused Accounts Receivable and collections duties. You'll join a collaborative finance team, working alongside a large AP function and a smaller AR team, providing plenty of opportunity to learn and develop your skills. Key responsibilities include:

- End-to-end processing of high-volume supplier invoices
- Managing complex invoice queries and discrepancies
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve issues
- Supporting payment runs and maintaining accurate records
- Chasing outstanding debts and managing collections
- Building strong relationships with customers over the phone and via email
- Investigating and resolving account queries
- Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
- Supporting credit control processes

What you'll need to succeed

- Previous experience in a combined AP/AR or Accounts Officer position
- Strong Accounts Payable experience,



ideally within a high-volume environment
- Confidence handling collections and debt recovery conversations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience using ERP systems, with exposure to Concur and/or Business Central highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Team-oriented approach with a positive, can-do attitude
