About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility of a current-build school construction in Melbourne's western suburbs. The project is already on site and running to a 12-month program, involving suspended slab, steel frame and precast concrete construction.

You'll be the senior on-site presence, supported by a Project Manager and Contract Administrator (part-time on site), a labourer and a floating Safety Advisor. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who wants ownership of program, productivity and safety without layers of bureaucracy.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day site operations across a $9-11M new-build school construction
- Drive program adherence across structural stages including slab, steel frame and precast
- Own site safety standards and ensure compliance across all trades and activities
- Coordinate trades, subcontractors and deliveries to maintain productivity targets
- Liaise directly with the Project Manager,



Contract Administrator and client representatives
- Maintain accurate site records and reporting via Hammertech and Visibuild platforms

Skills & Experience

- Proven Site Manager experience delivering $8M+ new-build school or education projects
- VSBA (Victorian School Building Authority) project background essential
- Confident, professional communicator who builds strong relationships with trades and clients
- Working knowledge of Hammertech, Visibuild and MS Office
- Sound understanding of structural methodology — suspended slab, steel frame, precast concrete
- Current WWCC, White Card and right to work in Australia
