About the Role
We are looking for a Nursery Hand & All-Rounder to join our team in Elanora.
This is a hands-on role working within our native nursery. You will be part of a small team and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge across nursery production, plant care, stock management and customer service.
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- At least 1 year of nursery experience, including production, stock management and packing orders
- Experience using pesticides, herbicides and fungicides safely
- Experience identifying South East Queensland native plants
- Current driver's licence and reliable own transport
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Availability to work at least 3-4 days per week
Highly Regarded
- Certificate III in Conservation and Ecosystem Management or Conservation and Land Management, or Horticulture
- Experience with invoicing and general administration
- Experience dealing with customers and taking phone orders
- Native seed collection and propagation experience
- Experience with pumps, irrigation and other nursery equipment
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Good computer skills and the ability to confidently use basic business systems
