Big River Pork currently has multiple roles for Skilled Meat Workers (Boners/Slicers/Slaughterers) at our Meat Processing Plant at Murray Bridge, one hour from Adelaide. These positions come with the opportunity to develop your career in a strong Food Safety, Quality culture environment.

Our company is seeking reliable recent team members, your previous experience and skill set will determine what role is best suited to you. We have on offer the following positions:

Boner

- Breaking Pork into primal cuts according to customer specifications.

- Debone Pork (Legs, Shoulders, Middles) to customer requirements.

Slicer

- Slicing, trimming and use of scribe saws and rind removal tools to produce pork primal cuts to customer requirements.

- Stringing, netting, bagging and wrapping of pork shelf-ready products.

These roles are offered Monday to Friday, with overtime as required.

Requirements:

- Physically fit, self-driven, committed and highly capable

- Keen attitude to work, reliability, and punctuality





- Equipment and machinery operations performed to our company’s SOP

- Commitment to good hygiene practices (GHP), health and food safety quality

- Experience in the meat industry
