Our modern, renovated family run clinic is looking for a dedicated and reliable nurse to operate as a melanographer. Located in sunny Bayside, this job is an excellent opportunity to provide the highest standards of patient care in an workplace where you can spend more time with patients than a hospital setting. Our clinic does 80% skin cancer work and 20% GP.
Key responsibilities
- Performing full body photography using the Fotofinder system, largely involving using a dermascopic camera to photograph any lesions on patients and then comparing them to previous photos
- Assisting the doctors with surgery, care plans and health assessments
- Dressing wounds, removal of stitches from operations
- Administering vaccinations or other injected medications
- Minor assistance around the clinic including cleaning instruments and restocking
About you
- AHPRA registration (enrolled/registered nurse)
- Skilled indemnity insurance
- Immuniser qualifications
- Experience in melanography would be preferred but training can be provided
- Up to date with required health worker immunisations
