Digital Technologies Teacher

Wesley College is seeking a flexible and innovative Digital Technologies teacher in an ongoing capacity commencing in Term 1, 2027. Joining a dynamic team that teaches across Years 5-12, the successful applicant will bring expertise in Computer Science ATAR and ideally the capacity or enthusiasm to teach Engineering Studies General: Mechatronics.
Beyond the classroom, this role offers opportunities to contribute to innovative curriculum design, including the co-design of hybrid and blended learning experiences, cross-curricular programs, and the ongoing evolution of digital literacies that prepare students for a rapidly changing world.
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- strong knowledge of the Digital Technologies and Design Technologies curricula, together with an understanding of the Digital Literacy General Capability;
- expertise in contemporary teaching and learning practices that promote engagement,
achievement and innovation;
- a commitment to ongoing skilled growth and evidence-informed educational practice;
- a proven ability to foster high levels of student engagement, achievement and growth;
- a genuine commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care;
- experience in leading or facilitating professional learning, particularly in digital technologies and digital pedagogies;
- a positive, collaborative and adaptable approach to working within a team environment;
- appropriate teaching qualifications and eligibility for teacher registration in Western Australia; and
- the capacity to teach students across Years 5-12.
All teachers are expected to participate in the pastoral care and co-curricular life of the school.
