Complete Traffic Services is a South Australian owned and operated traffic management company based in Adelaide. We're looking for an experienced, reliable Traffic Controller to join our casual team, helping keep workers, motorists and pedestrians secure across construction sites, roadworks and other traffic-controlled locations around metro Adelaide.
Key responsibilities
Set up, monitor and pack down traffic control devices (signs, cones, barriers, lights) in line with approved traffic management plans
Direct vehicles and pedestrians safely through work sites
Liaise with site supervisors and crew to keep traffic moving safely and efficiently
Identify and report hazards or incidents promptly
Carry out pre-start checks on equipment
Follow all WHS requirements and wear correct PPE at all times
What we're looking for
Previous hands-on experience as a Traffic Controller — this is not an entry-level role
Current, valid Traffic Controller ticket/accreditation
Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and standing for extended periods
Good communication skills and a professional manner with the public and site crews
Flexible availability for casual shifts, including early starts
A current driver's licence
