About the role

We are seeking an experienced Tandoor Chef to join our full time team. You will have prior experience cooking over charcoal tandoors and be driven by quality. This position requires a commitment to cooking Indian food to a very high standard.

What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of professional experience working with tandoor ovens in a high-volume kitchen environment
Proven expertise in traditional Indian tandoori cooking techniques and authentic flavour profiles
Robust knowledge of Indian spices, marinades, and their applications in tandoor cooking
Demonstrated ability to maintain consistent quality and presentation standards
Excellent understanding of food safety, hygiene practices, and kitchen health regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced kitchen environment during peak service times




Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff
Physical fitness and stamina to work with heat-intensive equipment for extended periods
Passion for Indian cuisine and commitment to culinary excellence
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications in Indian cooking preferred
Experience in fine dining or members' clubs is highly desirable
