The Institute of International Studies (TIIS) is an Institute of Higher Education committed to delivering high-quality academic programs and student experiences. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Corporate Support Officer to join our Administration team. This role plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity, transparency, and accountability of institutional governance processes at TIIS.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and distribute agendas, meeting papers, and supporting documents in accordance with governance procedures.
Accurately record decisions, action items, and major discussion points.
Format and finalise official minutes in compliance with institutional templates and confidentiality requirements.
Capture resolutions aligned with academic governance mandates.
Draft clear and concise minutes reflecting academic integrity, assessment decisions, and student progression deliberations.
Maintain secure records of institutional decisions.
Ensure version control and storage in accordance with the Records Management Policy.
Ensure meeting conduct is aligned with the Governance Charter and committee Terms of Reference.
Liaise with Chairs to confirm wording of resolutions and identify any governance risks or compliance gaps in documentation.
Support document formatting, version control,
and template design to ensure consistency across governance reporting.
Support the CEO and Deputy CEO (Compliance and Quality Assurance) in governance documentation where required.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong organisational and communication skills
Knowledge of governance processes in higher education or regulated training environments
Familiarity with TEQSA, HESF, or ASQA standards is desirable
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative governance tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)
