Sheetmetal Trade Assistant – Permanent Full-Time

Location: Lilydale, VIC
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Hourly Rate: $27.56 per hour

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Sheetmetal Trade Assistant to join our manufacturing team on a permanent full time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a factory environment and is keen to develop their skills within the sheetmetal industry.

Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 1:00pm
Saturday work will be required during peak production periods ( April – September)

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be involved in a range of factory and production duties, including:
Spot welding
Rolling flue and ducting components
Assisting tradespeople with fabrication and assembly tasks
General factory and workshop duties
Material handling and preparation
Maintaining a clean and secure work environment
Following workplace health and safety procedures

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a strong work ethic and a positive attitude




Be physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Be capable of heavy lifting up to 25kg as required for manual handling tasks
Have the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Previous experience in manufacturing, sheetmetal, or factory environments is desirable but not essential
Have the ability to use basic hand tools effectively

Employment Requirements

It is a condition of employment that the successful applicant:
Provides evidence of eligibility to work in Australia.
Undertakes a Police Check
Is able to travel to Factory Location in Lilydale.
