Gourmania has a well-established relationship with the WA Government; being one of the largest contracted suppliers of pre-prepared food to WA public hospitals.

About the role

Reporting to Management, your main responsibilities will include:
Day to day operations with high volume cooking.
Following recipes, procedures and product specifications to identify defects easily.
Work and operate to the standards of a SQF Certified Facility.
Have a valuable understanding and adherence to HACCP and GMP.
Report any equipment issues, safety hazards or unsafe practices to your supervisor.
Have knowledge of operating Ovens and various kitchen equipment.




Possess a positive attitude and be able to work with a variety of different people efficiently and effectively.
Taking ownership/accountability for taste, texture and adherence to cooking and chilling timeframes and standards.
Accountability for quality.
Batch documentation and recording.
Waste and yield management.

About you
Previous experience in chefing
Positive and energetic attitude.
Willingness to learn and grow within the position.
Ability to work autonomously while supporting and being a part of a team.
Good team worker
