About the role

The Facility Manager holds the primary responsibility for leading and operating the facility's services and supporting local, regional and company-wide key programs. The role involves ensuring the delivery of safe and high-quality care to residents while managing a team of staff. The Facility Manager will manage all aspects of residential care services, ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements. As a key personnel member, the Facility Manager plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing operational, clinical, and administrative functions essential to facility management.

Key responsibilities:
Operate and manage the day-to-day operations of the facility
Ensure the services are client centric, outcomes focused, secure, and ethical
Work closely with all stakeholders, communicating regularly to ensure that the various services operate efficiently as a unit, with the welfare of the resident as the major objective
Monitor and supervise that all staff comply with the policies and processes of the organisation




Implement and monitor effective workforce planning and management to ensure productive and quality operations while maintaining cost-effectiveness and compliance
Develop and implement strategies for the resolution of high-risk management, WHS issues, regulatory compliance, and infection control obligations
Implement and monitor effective and timely clinical care for all residents in line with best practices and UPA procedures
Manage the fiscal operations of their services to maintain the financial performance against allocated annual budgets
Develop, review and maintain a high performing, engaged workforce including building team leadership capabilities, skills, career pathways, annual reviews and development opportunities

About you:
Current AHPRA Registration with extensive clinical and relevant experience
Relevant and demonstrated experience in a leadership role, preferably within aged care residential services
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in budget management and cost control
