About the role

Full time temporary employment for 6 months project based in Merriwa NSW. You will be collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables, operating and maintaining contemporary, well-equipped vehicles, and working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery.

Key responsibilities
Collecting and transporting multiple waste streams including general waste, cardboard, plastics, and recyclables
Operating and maintaining modern, well-equipped vehicles
Completing daily pre-start checks, safety documentation, and required paperwork




Working safely on active commercial sites alongside heavy vehicles and machinery
Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health & Safety requirements and National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
Maintaining a professional appearance and a clean, organized work setting

About you
A valid HC license, Heavy Combination
Strong knowledge of transport safety and compliance
Understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Fatigue Management
Experience driving Hook Lift and Truck & Trailer combinations is preferred
Waste management experience is advantageous but not essential
