Senior Head of Design, Estimating & Business Development

Win work. Shape the future of the business. We're seeking a commercially sharp, senior electrical contracting qualified to lead our Design, Estimating and Business Development functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this is a genuine leadership role with real influence over strategy and growth and not just another estimating position.
$220k base plus super plus vehicle/allowance

What you'll do:
Lead Design, Estimating and Business Development, partnering with the MD on growth strategy
You'll lead a team of two, own major tenders end-to-end, and build the relationships that keep the pipeline full.
Build relationships with builders, developers and consultants to generate recent opportunities
Lead and mentor a two-person Design & Estimating team Oversee electrical design for compliance, buildability and value




Protect margins and report on tender performance and profitability

What you'll bring:
Senior-level experience in electrical contracting and construction in the commercial and fit out space
Strong electrical trade and/or engineering background
Extensive estimating and tendering experience, including team leadership Robust commercial acumen and business development track record
Confidence with complex drawings, specs and contracts
NSW electrical licensing and relevant qualifications highly regarded
