We are seeking an experienced solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of PAE to join our team. This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to further develop their practice in a supportive, qualified, and hands-on environment.

Experience in Family Law or Criminal Law is highly regarded. However, candidates with experience gained in a general practice or boutique law firm environment will also be considered. You must hold a current Australian practicing certificate.

Key Responsibilities
Assist with managing legal files under supervision
Draft legal documents, correspondence and court materials
Conduct legal research and prepare legal summaries
Communicate with clients and provide regular updates regarding their matters
Attend court, mediations and meetings as required
Assist with the preparation and conduct of Family Law and/or Criminal Law matters
Work collaboratively with solicitors and other members of the team

Requirements
Minimum 5 years Post-Admission Experience (PAE) in Australia
Experience in Family Law or Criminal Law preferred
Experience within a general practice or boutique law firm will also be considered




Hold a current Australian practising certificate
Robust written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
Qualified, client-focused and commercially minded approach
A genuine interest in developing a career in Family Law and/or Criminal Law

Pay: $110,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
