The Last Slice, a busy cafe in Sydney Olympic Park known for our halal-certified menu and Toby's Estate coffee, is on the lookout for a hands-on Weekend Cafe Manager to run the show during our busiest days.

If you know how to lead a team, keep customers happy, and stay cool when things get hectic, we'd love to hear from you.

Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing weekend cafe operations from open to close
Leading, guiding, and supporting the team on shift
Delivering consistently outstanding customer service
Assigning tasks and supervising staff throughout the day
Handling customer questions and resolving any issues that come up
Keeping an eye on stock levels and product availability
Upholding food safety, cleanliness, and service standards
Making sure orders go out accurately and on time
Opening and closing the cafe as needed
Keeping management in the loop on staffing, stock, and day-to-day operations
Jumping in to help the team wherever it's needed

What we're looking for:




Solid background in cafe, hospitality, or restaurant management
Comfortable taking charge of a team in a fast-paced setting
Dependable, organised, and self-motivated
Excellent communicator with strong people skills
Qualified, customer-first attitude
Confident making decisions independently
Steady and level-headed under pressure
Free to work every weekend
Ready to work alongside the team, not just oversee it
Based within 10km of Sydney Olympic Park
