We are a new and growing medical clinic committed to providing high-quality, patient-centred care to our community. We are seeking a reliable and qualified Medical Receptionist to join our team and support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
About the Role
This is a permanent part-time position of 18 hours per week, working rostered shifts as determined by the practice.
Flexibility to work additional hours when required will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Greeting patients in a qualified and friendly manner
Managing appointment bookings and phone enquiries
Processing Medicare claims and payments
Managing patient records and data entry
Handling billing and EFTPOS transactions
Coordinating with doctors and clinical staff
Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards
About You
Previous experience in a medical reception or healthcare setting (preferred)
Experience with Best Practice software (desirable)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking ability
Skilled presentation and reliable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
