Trade Assistant – Casual Shutdown Work
We are currently seeking a Trade Assistant to support our team during regular shutdowns that currently occur every 4 weeks, typically running for 3–5 days.
This is a practical, hands-on role working with mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.

About the role

You will assist with mechanical tasks during shutdowns, supporting the team to complete work safely and efficiently.
This role suits someone who enjoys physical, hands-on work and can operate confidently in busy industrial environments.

What we’re looking for
Previous experience in workshops, construction, or mine sites
Basic understanding of mechanical equipment and tooling
Good awareness of site safety,



PPE requirements, and dropped-object hazards
Reliable, team-focused, and able to work calmly under pressure
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Rigging experience or basic rigging skills are highly regarded but not required
