We are a busy Gastroenterology practice located in Newtown consisting of 3 gastroenterologists, 1 dietician, 1 casual and 3 full time employees. We are a very friendly and supportive team that is looking for a motivated and outgoing receptionist to join our team! Our practice is paperless and located in the RPA medical centre, Newtown.

The most suitable candidate would be someone with excellent communication skills, ability to multi task in a high paced workplace, attention to detail, very organised and enjoys a sociable work place.

Qualifications & experience

Medical receptionist experience preferred, either in general or specialist practice.

Tasks & responsibilities
Welcoming patients and checking them in




Scheduling of appointments for consultations and procedures
Billing patients
Upkeep of patient recalls
Answering phones and returning voicemails
Upkeep of emails, faxes and scanning
Liaising with hospitals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $69,000.00 per year
