PART-TIME CHEF / COOK - Tres Mexican – Seaford, VIC

Tres Mexican is looking for an experienced and reliable Chef/Cook to join our kitchen team on a part-time/Casual basis.

We are looking for someone who is confident in a busy kitchen, can work under pressure, and is capable of taking responsibility for the smooth operation of the kitchen during their shifts.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking food to our recipes and quality standards
Managing kitchen operations during your shifts
Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace standards
Assisting with stock management and kitchen organisation
Taking responsibility for the kitchen and supporting other kitchen staff

About You

The ideal candidate will have:
2–4 years of relevant commercial kitchen experience
Previous experience working as a Chef/Cook in a busy restaurant environment
Robust knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures




The ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
The confidence and capability to run the kitchen responsibly during service
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude
High standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential
