Part-Time Cook – Café | Castle Hill

Coffee Trad3rs Castle Hill is looking for an experienced and reliable Part time Cook to join our kitchen team.

We are a busy local café serving breakfast and lunch and are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a rapid-paced café kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality food.

About the Role

You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of café breakfast and lunch dishes while maintaining consistent food quality and kitchen standards.

Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and cooking breakfast and lunch dishes
Working efficiently during busy service periods
Food preparation and general kitchen duties
Maintaining food quality, presentation and portion consistency
Following food safety and hygiene requirements
Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised
Working closely with other kitchen and front-of-house team members
Assisting with stock preparation and kitchen organisation as required





About You

We are looking for someone who:
Has previous experience working in a café kitchen
Has good cooking and food preparation skills
Can work efficiently and independently during service
Is reliable, punctual and organised
Works well as part of a team
Has a good understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Is available for both weekday and weekend shifts

Hours & Availability

This is a part-time position, approximately 4 shifts per week:
2 weekday shifts
Saturday and Sunday
Weekday shifts can be discussed based on availability

Kitchen operating hours:

Weekdays: 6:30am – 3:00pm
Weekends: 7:30am – 2:30pm

Daytime shifts only – no night work.

Pay: $51,300.00 – $57,000.00 per year
