BAKE’D Sydney is opening a new location in Merrylands, and we’re looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to join our opening team.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing hospitality brand and work in a busy, professional and supportive kitchen environment.

About the Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you will support our chefs and kitchen team with the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and help ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities
Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment
Maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas
Assisting chefs with basic food preparation
Receiving and putting away stock
Keeping cool rooms, storage areas and workstations organised
Removing rubbish and maintaining waste areas
Following food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods

What We’re Looking For




Previous kitchen hand experience preferred
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to work efficiently in a rapid-paced setting
Valuable communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to cleanliness and hygiene
Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
Weekend and public holiday availability
Flexible availability across weekdays and weekends
