We're looking for a talented, driven Payroll Projects Team Lead to join us for a 6-month fixed-term contract for the team with the possibility of an extension. As a part of a highly cooperative and motivated team, we would love to hear from you.

What you'll do:
Lead a small, dedicated team of two Senior Payroll Analysts
Manage complex payroll claims, calculations, adjustments and remediation
Identify payroll risks and recommend practical solutions
Focus heavily on payroll remediation, compliance initiatives, and continuous process improvements
Report directly to the Payroll Manager

What you'll bring:




Advanced knowledge and experience in end-to-end payroll as well as payroll remediation with large complex organisations
Experience working with complex payroll datasets and undertaking detailed reconciliations and calculations
Possess solid analytical and investigative capacity with the ability to connect the dots across data, systems, processes and employment conditions
Payroll testing experience desirable
Capable of communicating at a technical level
Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills essential
Experience in Aurion and/or PeopleSoft highly desirable
Preferably based in Brisbane (3 days in the office, 2 days WFH)
Must be an Australian Citizen
