Experienced Café All-Rounder – Barista, Grill & Kitchen

Hotts Cafe in Hoppers Crossing is looking for an experienced Café All-Rounder to join our team.

This is primarily a Monday to Friday position with daytime hours, however occasional weekend work may be requested.

We’re looking for someone who is confident across all areas of a busy café and can jump in wherever needed.

Duties include:
Making consistently excellent coffee
Grill and short-order cooking
Preparing breakfast and lunch orders
Food preparation and kitchen duties
Taking customer orders and using the POS
Serving customers and providing friendly service
Preparing takeaway and delivery orders
Assisting with catering preparation
Cleaning and keeping work areas organised

We’re looking for someone who:
Has solid previous café experience
Is confident on a commercial coffee machine
Has grill and short-order cooking experience




Can work quickly and calmly during busy periods
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Has excellent customer service skills
Is happy working as part of a small team
Can work independently without constant supervision
Is comfortable doing a bit of everything

Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
Weekends: Occasional weekend work may be requested
Location: Hotts Cafe, Hoppers Crossing VIC
