We are looking for an experienced and reliable Part time Sous Chef to join our growing restaurant group. The position can be changed to Full time for the right candidate.

This may be a multi-venue position, with shifts allocated across one or more of our Melbourne restaurants depending on business needs, your experience and availability.

You’ll work alongside our Head Chefs and kitchen teams, helping maintain high food standards and smooth kitchen operations across our venues.

Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting Head Chefs with daily kitchen operations
Preparing and cooking high-quality food
Running kitchen service and coordinating the team when required
Managing your section and ensuring consistent food quality
Preparing mise en place and supporting daily kitchen prep
Assisting with stock control,



ordering and kitchen organisation
Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
Supporting and training junior kitchen staff
Stepping into a leadership role when the Head Chef is not present
Working across one or more venues within the group, depending on the roster

Prior experience with Italian cuisine is strongly preferred. But robust experience in any other cuisine is acceptable as well.

Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
