We are seeking an experienced and passionate Carpentry Trainer & Assessor to deliver and assess the Certificate III in Carpentry program.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys sharing industry knowledge, supporting students, and contributing to high-quality vocational education outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, industry-relevant training and assessment for Certificate III in Carpentry
Assess student competency in accordance with training package requirements
Support students in developing practical and theoretical skills
Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation
Ensure compliance with ASQA, RTO standards, and internal policies
Contribute to continuous improvement of training and assessment strategies
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher qualification in a relevant field)
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent / updated version)
Current industry experience in carpentry/construction
Strong knowledge of Australian building standards and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
Experience delivering training within an RTO environment
Current White Card
First Aid Certificate
Experience working with international students
