About the role

This agile position bridges everyday marketing coordination with hands-on graphic design. Rather than delegating design work externally, you will be our in-house design anchor - creating polished visual content while coordinating marketing campaigns from concept to delivery. Working collaboratively within a passionate team, you will oversee digital channels, draft story-driven copy, and produce end-to-end publications, including our flagship publication, Legacy Times magazine.

Key responsibilities
Design print and digital marketing collateral (fundraising appeal packages, social graphics, e-newsletters, event signage) and manage full publication layout for Legacy Times magazine.
Plan, schedule, and execute integrated fundraising campaigns and digital communications in alignment with our content calendar.
Draft compelling, emotionally intelligent copy highlighting the real-life impact of donor support and the stories of veterans' families.
Update website content, schedule social media posts, and build/send regular email marketing campaigns.
Capture basic event photography/video when needed and monitor engagement metrics to continually improve campaign performance.

About you
Robust hands-on proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop)



with a portfolio demonstrating print publication layout and digital graphic design.
Proven experience coordinating digital and print marketing campaigns, content calendars, and using email platforms/CMS.
Ability to write warm, engaging, and sensitive content tailored for donor audiences and community stakeholders.
Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and design deadlines effectively in a 0.6 FTE schedule.
Current Australian Driver's Licence.
Flexibility to attend occasional events outside standard hours (Time Off in Lieu provided).

Advantages
Salary: $80,000 per annum + Super (pro-rata for 0.6 FTE = $48,000 + Super).
Part-time 0.6 FTE with flexibility on how hours are spread across the week (e.g., 3 full days or shorter hours across 4–5 days).
