Intrepid Cleaning is hiring! We are looking for an experienced cleaner who wants a reliable, long-term position with a supportive company.

Snapshot of the Role:
Location: Karrinyup
Hours: Part-time 5 days per week (31 hours). Shifts are between 9am – 4pm. There is opportunity to take on additional hours on weekends or work evening shifts if desired.
Pay: Above award $35.20 (cleaners award night rate)
Benefits: Partial gym reimbursement + supportive management.

Description of the role:




Cleaning the interior of boarding houses including common areas and staff and student’s rooms.
Vacuuming and mopping floors.
Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom and laundry fixtures and replenishing consumables.
Emptying bins and removing rubbish.
Applying appropriate chemicals to remove stains and dirt.
Reporting any maintenance issues.

Requirements:
Relevant experience in cleaning schools/offices (minimum 1 year in Australia)
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with school staff.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Positive time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing workloads.
Good organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised.
Ability to show initiative and problem solve.
Must hold or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check card.
Must hold or be willing to apply for a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check via the Department of Education (WA).
