About the role
This is a 1:1 in-home, low support needs role, focused on active capacity building and rapport building. You will provide wrap-around support including mornings, afternoons, and inactive sleepovers on a rotating roster.
Key responsibilities
Applying a "teach–prompt–fade" approach to build daily living skills—doing things with people, not for them
Engaging in the participant's artistic hobbies (art, diamond art, sewing, Stitch) and assisting with daily routines, including braiding long hair
Managing home upkeep, deep cleaning, and auditing safety essentials (first aid kits, go-bags) during quieter periods
Keeping accurate shift notes so clinical leadership can track genuine progress
About you
Experience supporting ASD, Bipolar, and PDA profiles
Willingness to work a rotating roster including afternoon, evenings, inactive sleepovers, and mornings.
Open Australian Driver's Licence
NDIS Worker Screening Check
Blue Card
First Aid/CPR
Police Check (obtained less than 12 months ago)
Completed NDIS Modules (Orientation, Induction, Safe Eating, Protected Communication)
