About the role

We are an established manufacturing business in Campbellfield seeking an experienced, reliable and proactive Bookkeeper to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, has excellent attention to detail and is confident questioning and investigating transactions when something doesn't look right.

Key responsibilities
Accounts payable & receivable
AUD & foreign currency transactions and reconciliations
Bank and credit card reconciliations, including USD accounts
BAS, GST, Payroll Tax & Workcover reporting
Month-end journals and monthly/year-end reporting
Inter-company and inventory reconciliations
Investigating discrepancies and unusual transactions
Liaising with external accountants
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Assisting management with reporting, cash flow and process improvements

About you
Minimum 5 years' bookkeeping experience
Strong Xero experience
Experience with foreign currency and overseas transactions
Solid knowledge of Australian bookkeeping,



GST and BAS
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Reliable, proactive and able to work independently
Positive team player willing to assist across the office
Full working rights in Australia
