About the role

ACQ Projects is seeking an experienced Foreman/Carpenter to join our team in Bundaberg. This is a causal position with prospect for a fulltime role in the future. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, to the highest quality standards and leading a team of tradespeople.

What you'll be doing
Coordinating and overseeing tradespeople and labourers to ensure all work is completed on schedule and meets high-quality standards.
Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are met
Ensuring work is carried out safely and in compliance with all relevant building codes and regulations
Managing material orders, deliveries and inventory to support productive project completion
Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
Providing hands-on carpentry work as required to support the team
Maintaining detailed records and documentation for each project

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Foreman/Carpenter in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, building codes and safety regulations
Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications




Strong communication and relationship-building skills with tradespeople and suppliers
Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate and motivate a team
Problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve challenges on the job site
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Carpentry trade qualification or equivalent
