Aspect Engineering are seeking an experienced Process Metallurgist to join a our growing gold operation and play a key role in optimising plant performance, maximising gold recovery, and supporting the successful ramp-up and ongoing operation of a contemporary gold processing facility while working closely with operations, maintenance, and technical services teams.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and optimise plant performance to maximise gold recovery and throughput.
Conduct metallurgical accounting, reconciliation, and performance reporting.
Analyse plant data and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Optimise grinding, gravity recovery, and CIL/CIP processing circuits.
Investigate and troubleshoot metallurgical and processing issues.
Manage metallurgical test work programs and implement findings.
Review reagent consumption and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support operational budgeting and forecasting activities.




Develop and maintain process control strategies and operating procedures.
Provide technical guidance to plant personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.

Skills & Experience (Essential):
Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience as a Process Metallurgist within a gold processing operation.
Strong understanding of crushing, grinding, gravity recovery, and CIL/CIP circuits.
Proven ability to optimise plant performance and improve recovery outcomes.
Experience with metallurgical accounting and production reporting.
