Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic – Job Description We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our busy workshop. The successful candidate will diagnose, service, repair, and maintain trucks, trailers, and heavy vehicles to a high standard while ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance. Repair engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, steering, and driveline components. Carry out diagnostic testing using scan tools. Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records. Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards. Requirements: Relevant trade qualification in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics or equivalent. Experience working on heavy trucks and trailers. Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver’s licence (HR/HC licence preferred).
