Male Support Worker – NDIS Participant

Location: Reservoir VIC 3073
Position: Support Worker
Every Friday
Every second Monday (fortnightly)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced male Support Worker to support an NDIS participant with his day-to-day needs and maintain his independence and wellbeing.

The participant has experienced a decline in mobility and now requires increased support with safe transfers and mobility-related tasks. We are therefore looking for someone who is confident, patient and physically capable of providing secure and appropriate transfer support.

Key Responsibilities
Supporting the participant with safe transfers and mobility.
Providing assistance with daily living activities as required.
Encouraging independence and maintaining the participant's dignity and choice.
Following the participant's care plan, manual handling procedures and relevant support protocols.




Monitoring and reporting any changes in mobility, wellbeing or support needs.
Completing accurate shift notes and required documentation.
Building a respectful and positive qualified relationship with the participant.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:
Male, as this is the participant's preference.
Experienced in supporting people with mobility and transfer needs.
Confident with manual handling and protected transfer techniques.
Patient, respectful, reliable and compassionate.
Comfortable working independently and following support plans.
Ideally experienced in the NDIS or disability support sector.
Available every Friday and every second Monday.
