Description
Assist chefs with food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, equipment, utensils, and work surfaces. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently. Receive, unpack, and store food deliveries according to food safety requirements. Assist with stock rotation and ensure ingredients are stored correctly. Dispose of waste and maintain a clean and organised kitchen. Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures. Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy service periods. Assist with basic kitchen preparation and other duties as required. Work effectively as part of a team in a quick-paced kitchen setting.
