Disability Support Worker – IT Background | Miranda We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Disability Support Worker with an IT/technology background to support a participant based in Miranda, NSW, including assistance while attending university. This role would suit someone who has experience or qualifications in IT, computer science, technology or a related field, as the participant requires support navigating university life and engaging with their studies. About the role: • Supporting the participant to attend university and navigate campus • Assisting with organisation, routines and study-related tasks • Providing practical support with computers, technology and IT-related coursework where appropriate • Supporting independence, confidence and community participation • Transport and community access as required Requirements:



• Experience or a background in IT/technology • Previous disability support experience is highly regarded • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check • Current Working With Children Check, where applicable • Current First Aid & CPR • NDIS Worker Orientation Module • Valid driver’s licence and ability to provide transport as required • Reliable, patient and confident working independently • Solid communication and interpersonal skills Location: Miranda, NSW We are looking for someone who can build a positive working relationship with the participant while encouraging independence rather than simply completing tasks for them.
